Reflections

• Thank you for the wonderful weekend! I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Everything was so well organized. It was a pleasure to meet and dance with such enthusiastic people. Congratulations on your success!
  This was my first visit to your beautiful country. I had always wanted to visit Budapest. I am very happy to have finally had the opportunity to go. Everything was as beautiful as I imagined. I was also very impressed by the fierce Hungarian national pride I observed everywhere.
  Please convey my thanks and congratulations on a successful weekend to the rest of your team. I know that a lot of effort goes into these events and that a lot of people work behind the scenes to make sure everything comes together. Everyone's efforts are greatly appreciated!
• I passed a beautiful time in Budapest.
  All was perfectly well organised.
  I hope that you have a good rest now after a so hard work.
  My english is very bad and I cannot say all th many satisfactions with the balls; the music, the stages, and the holidays, the visits and a so good food.

  I can imagine how much work goes in to making such a weekend go so smoothly so a very big thank you to everyone involved in the organisation of it.
  The music was outstanding, teaching excellent, social dancing enjoyable, the welcome warm ... I could go on! Even the weather was perfect!

• we had a truly wonderful week in Budapest, first the dance weekend and then the sightseeing programme. Szilvia Biro, Melinda Rupert, Agnes Borbely, Gabor Gyarmarti, Judit Kerner, Eszter Sandor and Attila Salamon (please excuse me for omitting the accents!) are all to be heartily thanked for their time and trouble in looking after us all so well. If somebody asks me about the Budapest week, I can only recommend it very highly indeed.
  Budapest is a truly fantastic city of which you can be very proud.
• Many, many thanks to all the members of the Budapest club for giving us such a wonderful week, dancing and seeing Hungary. We were overwhelmed with your hospitality and the efforts put in by everyone to make our stay so enjoyable.

• you make my day!!! ja, ich denke, dass die echt mir gehören, mir ist im stress des nach hause kommens gar nicht aufgefallen, dass sie fehlen, erst als ich heute meine tanzschuhe eingepackt hab ist mir das aufgefallen. das find ich super! übrigens ist in dem luftballon noch immer luft drin, er fliegt noch immer, scheinbar wirkt diese "special liquid", wie gabor gesagt hat! Mir hat der kurs echt wieder viel spass gemacht - ich freu mich schon auf nächstes mal!
• Just a short email to say thank you for a great course and Ball! It was impressively well organised and we could see that you and the other organisers had put a lot of effort into it.
  It was my first time in Budapest so I particularly appreciated the 'touristy' activities.

  Congratulations to all of you as l know it was a lot of hard work and team effort - you probably worked on it for six months and now it is all over but we all had a very good time.

• This note is just to say how very much Bob and I enjoyed our week in Budapest and to thank you and all your team for the effort you put in to giving us a truly memorable visit. We enjoyed the dances, the classes, the sight-seeing, the eating and drinking - and certainly hope to return another year. You asked for suggestions for possible changes. The following is a very tentative suggestion - and does not indicate any complaint about this year's organisation.
• Many, many thanks for a wonderful weekend. I had a great time and want to thank you all so much for your hard work in planning such a good weekend course and for providing all the "tourist" extras. Please pass on my thanks and good wishes to all of your hard-working team.
  I do hope that all participants enjoyed and benefited from the classes - it is very difficult to find something to suit everyone. One thing I am sure of, they will have enjoyed the music and Robert's insights and explanations.
• I would just like to thank you and all those concerned with organising the magnificent weekend in Budapest. Ian and I were most impressed with the whole event; especially the energy, enthusiasm, excellent dancing and great friendliness shown by the Budapest "team" towards all the visitors. It was a great occasion. Thank you again.
• I would like to thank you and your team for all the hard work you put in to make the weekend such a huge success. I know from experience that organising events such as this does not happen overnight, but takes a committed team to share the work not only during the weekend, but for the months before it as well.
  The whole programme of events was very well balanced and varied. It really was very enjoyable indeed.
• Gabor, thank you and all your group for such a wonderful weekend; you have such friendly and hard working dancers; they were so good at being aware when sets were being made up, not taking their places until they were sure all sets were OK and the decorations in the hall were SPECTACULAR!! Your organisation is superb, all the information you sent out made us feel quite secure about moving around in the city and knowing what we were going to do next. • Thank you for inviting me to play for the 2005 Budapest week-end and for all the excellent hospitality you gave me over my stay. You were very generous and it was much appreciated from the bottles of wine to the extra nights in the hotel and to the transport to/from the airport.
  The week-end was really enjoyable. Linda and I make a good team as we know each other so well and I think the dancers appreciated that. Of course for me the biggest joy was that magnificant grand piano – one of the very best if not the best I have ever played. Made my participation so much easier. A real thank you for this.
